The one thing Johnson Oil is most known for is never running out of propane. No matter how bad the supply situation has been we know what we need to do to honor the commitments to our customers. That sometimes has meant turning away potential new business if it meant possibly compromising taking care of our legacy customers.
We advertise very little. We know if we put all our effort into doing things that actually affect building long term relationships with our clients we'll see a return in perpetuity. We've seen that what grows our business year over year are the words our customers use to describe us to their friends family and neighbors.
I don't think many entrepreneurs think about where their business will be in 35 years. They know talent, hard work, and favorable winds may not be enough to sail through every storm on the voyage to success. We do think that what got us to this point in time is just as important to move through the next 35 years.
