Our Payment Terms And Policies
Please read this document carefully before accessing or using Johnson Oil website or other services.
PAYMENT TERMS
Invoices are billed at cash price. Payment is due in 30 days.
FINANCE CHARGES
Outstanding balances incur an 18% finance charge annually. Finance charges are assessed monthly on past due balances.
CONTRACT TERMS
Customer understands and agrees that price fluctuation may occur and the current cash price of said product may be lower than contracted price provided. Customer agrees to pay stated contract price.
This is a legally-binding contract. Gallons must be delivered by end date. Unless arrangements are made with Johnson Oil before the end of the contract, any gallons not taken under this contract constitutes a breach of contract.
Gallons remaining after contract end date can be billed at full-price plus $0.10.
Johnson Oil has the authority to decline any customer or cancel any contract due to poor credit rating, poor payment history or account delinquency. No contract gallons will be delivered if you have a balance due on your account. This includes any keep fill deliveries.
Prepaid balances or other credit balances will not accrue interest.
Contract gallons are not transferable and are intended for the sole use of the contract purchaser/owner only.
Johnson Oil is not liable for delay, default, or impossibility of performance on its part due to an act of God, the public enemy, government restraints, regulations, shortages, riots, strikes, lockouts, and machinery breakdowns, civil disturbances of any nature, acts of terrorism, pipeline or transportation interruptions; or any act happening beyond its control.
Johnson Oil and L.P. Company will reserve the right to add a freight surcharge that reflects additional expense incurred to remedy any pipeline or transportation situation that results from supply interruptions, shortages or constraints.
Pricing on this contract is subject to change whenever a pipeline tariff or freight rate change is imposed on Johnson Oil or Johnson Oil's suppliers.
No verbal contracts will be allowed or honored; only written and signed contracts will be binding.
Customer agrees to pay Johnson Oil Company's reasonable attorney's fees and costs incurred in connection with the enforcement of this agreement due to any breach of this agreement by the customer.
CREDIT CARD PAYMENTS
We offer credit card payment via Visa or Mastercard. All credit card and debit card transactions will be assessed an additional 3.5% service fee.
DELINQUENT ACCOUNTS
All previous invoices must be paid before more fuel/propane will be delivered. Consistent nonpayment will require that all fuel/propane be paid for before delivery.
